This recipe is very easy to do. The ingredients of the seasoning pack that carries the Taco Bell logo can easily be found in all grocery stores. Most probably, you think that this seasoning mix recipe will help you create meat that tastes exactly like the meat sold in Taco Bell. But, unfortunately, it does not. This seasoning mix is much like Lawry’s seasoning mix. Although, this seasoning mix can still give you that delicious spiced ground meat and it works perfectly well for tacos. However, if you’re aiming for that mushy and spiced meat found in the burritos and tacos sold in Taco Bell, then you will need to use the Taco Bell Taco clone recipe.

For many years, Taco Bell fanatics can only choose from “milk” and “how” types of free taco sauce packs to add a little bit of punch to Taco Bell’s tacos. Until recently, Taco Bell created another variety of hot sauce that kicks a bit of notches to the heat-o-meter. Although true hot sauce fanatics will find this recipe sauce still a little bit of mild as compared to the Habanero-based hot sauces available in the market today, this Fire Border Sauce from Taco Bell is definitely an improvement to Taco Bell’s original sauce formulas.

Ingredients:

1 can tomato paste (16-oz)

3 c water

3 Tbsp canned jalapeno slices (finely minced)

3 Tbsp vinegar

1 Tbsp dried onion (minced)

1 Tbsp chili powder

2 Tsp cornstarch

2 Tsp salt

1 Tsp sugar

1 Tsp cayenne pepper

¼ Tsp onion powder

A dash of garlic powder

1. Mix water with the tomato paste in a medium-size sauce pan. Whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth.
