1 small onion, diced                                                                 1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley

10 cups water                                                                             2 teaspoons basil

2 potatoes, peeled & sliced                                               1/4 cup lemon juice

2 stalks celery, with tops                                                    1/2 teaspoon curry powder
