Olive Garden Tiramisu Dessert
Serves: 6
Ingredients:
Unsweetened cocoa powder
3 ounces rum or brandy
3 ounces strong black coffee
1 and ½ cups powdered/superfine sugar
1 and ½ pounds mascarpone (room temperature)
1 (10 to 12-inch) sponge cake, approximately 3-inch tall
Procedure:
1. At the middle of the sponge cake, cut it across to form two layers. Each layer should be about 1 and ½-inch high.
2. Blend the brandy and coffee. Sprinkle just enough mixture on top of the bottom half layer of the cake to strongly flavor it.
