Hot Dog on a Stick Hot Dog
On a very hot summer day sometime in 1946, Dave Barham got an idea to experiment a hotdog by dipping it into his mom’s cornbread batter, fry it until golden brown. And, this is when the first ever Hot Dog on a Stick was created. Soon after this discovery, Dave found a location close to the beach at Santa Monica, California. This is where he offered his new discovery with an ice-cold lemonade and mustard on the side. The food chain makes use of turkey dogs only for this recipe, which is why we’re going to do the same. Just make sure to use shorter dogs instead of the “bun-length”. Remember that for this dish, size truly matters. For the hot dog stick, you can use the disposable wood chopsticks found in local Japanese/Chinese food restaurants.
