Great American Cookies White Chunk Macadamia
After sharing the desired chocolate chip cookie of his grandmother with his business partner, Michael Coles, Arthur Karp knew right then that their business will going to be a success. The business partners opened the first store of Great American Cookies in The Perimeter Mall (Atlanta, Georgia) in 1977. Today, Great American Cookies now have over 350 stores. The company’s products have become a huge hit. This is why many people want to recreate their products. Great American Cookies bakes their products using a very detailed process. They use convection ovens and bake the goodies at exactly 280 degrees Fahrenheit for 16-17 minutes only. However, most people do not own convection ovens. Aside from that, setting the oven at this very specific temperature can also be difficult. This is why we have altered the recipe a little bit. Just make sure that the cookies will look undercooked and ONLY a little bit browned around its edges once you take it off the oven. This will make the cookies taste chewy once they are cooled.
