Applebee’s Tequila Lime Chicken
This recipe is one of Applebee’s top-sellers. This is also one of the most requested recipes from Applebee’s. This delicious dish mixes that southwestern-style dressing with the flavorful taste of tequila lime marinade and a touch of melted cheese blend. Just remember not to over-marinade the chicken. Marinating it for more than 4 hours can cause the citric acid to harden the chicken. You can easily clone the crispy corn tortilla strips with those corn chips found in local stores. However, if you prefer restaurant-like strips, read the “tidbits” portion below. You can serve this delicious dish with your preferred rice (Spanish rice is suggested), along with salsa or pico de gallo on the side.
